The Iota Chapter of Zeta Beta Tau is ranked #1 on the University of Denver campus as well as all ZBT chapters worldwide. For the last decade, Iota has won more local and national awards than any other DU fraternity. That says something. “Good, better, best… never let me rest until my good is better and my better is best.”
At this year’s Zeta Beta Tau’s Internal Convention and Leadership School held in Denver, the Iota Chapter and its brothers were honored and presented with awards.
Marc Nathanson, Iota class of 1967, was awarded ZBT’s Man of Distinction Award. Dan Goodman, Iota 2008, was awarded ZBT’s Outstanding Young Alumnus Award.
The chapter was selected as the runner -up for best chapter nationwide. This is the 9th out of the past 10 years where the chapter has either been the best ZBT chapter (twice in the last four years) or runner up, representing a decade of dominance.
The Chapter was also won the best publications award for the seventh year in a row. The chapter also won the award for the best recruitment on a chapter with under 10,000 students. The chapter initiated 42 men. The chapter won for best brotherhood event- our alumni panel. The chapter was runner up for the best heritage event for its work with a butterfly garden at DU’s Holocaust Memorial Garden. The chapter received recognition for its upcoming 100th anniversary of its founding at DU.
With 115 active brothers, ZBT Iota is one of the largest and the most highly honored fraternities on the University of Denver campus. Dedicated to Intellectual Awareness, Social Responsibility, Integrity and Brotherly Love, Iota embodies all of the positive qualities a fraternity and its brothers should live up to.
Zeta Beta Tau was founded on December 29th, 1898. Dedicated to the values of intellectual awareness, social responsibility, integrity, and brotherly love, the Iota chapter of Zeta Beta Tau at the University of Denver was founded in 1920 and since then has been committed to being a Powerhouse of Excellence.
