Where we started

FROM 1920 TO NOW

Founded in 1920 at the University of Denver the chapter operated until the early 1990s when the the chapter went dormant until 2005 when under the leadership of Dan Goodman it was re-colonized. In 2007 the chapter was re-chartered . The Iota Chapter of Zeta Beta Tau is now a brotherhood of over 75 men. The chapter was initially chartered as a chapter of Phi Sigma Delta National Fraternity. In 1969 Phi Sigma Delta merged with Zeta Beta Tau. From that time forward the chapter has been known as the Iota Chapter of Zeta Beta Tau. The chapter has approximately 1,000 living alumni.

Our house

Our Origins

Our house was built in 1959 and Iota was housed there until the early 1990s. In 2009 Iota was able to renovate and reoccupy our original house.  We invite you to come check out our renovated house and meet our brothers. We are located at 1959 S. Columbine St. Many of our alumni are actively involved in our chapter and are eager to help brothers network and find jobs after graduation. We have an alumni big brother program that pairs up seniors with alumni who serve as their mentors as they transition into the real world. The chapter has an active advisory board and house corporation that work closely with the chapter and its leadership. The chapter also has a faculty advisor that works with the chapter and its brothers in pursuit of academic excellence. Learn more about ZBT.
